Notes: Jim Garard was the first beer can collector for whom price and time were no barriers in his quest to build the best possible collection. When he sold his collection through Ken White in 1980 the extraordinary prices he received made shockwaves in the hobby. Beer can collecting once a casual blue-collar pastime had become a serious hobby. Here is the list of prices realized from that sale along with Ken's cover letter which was mailed out with all winning lots. Condition as shown in the scan.
