Notes: This incredible photo captures hundreds of brewers and their wives at the 1914 Brewers' Convention in New Orleans. Gathered along the riverfront, the crowd poses with the majestic paddlewheel ship Hanover in the background, beautifully decorated with flags from around the world, likely representing the attendees' home countries. Measures 3 feet long. A supplement to the American Brewer periodical. Very good condition as shown in the photos.

Unless otherwise requested, shipping will be fulfilled via USPS or UPS. Insurance on winnings of over $50 is required, as is a handling fee, to cover to cost of labor and materials. Generally, this is 50¢ per can, $1 per tray and bottle, $10 per wooden crate. Medium-sized signs will require a $5-10 handling fee. The handling fee for large items could be quite a bit more. Shipping charges will be combined for multiple lots, of course.

Every item in this auction comes from the remarkable lifelong accumulation of Charles Vick, one of the breweriana hobby's best-known collectors. Proceeds will help Charlie replace the van that has kept him homebound since January, allowing him to return to the breweriana shows and flea markets he has attended for more than 50 years.
