Rice Lake Brewing Company, Rice Lake, Wisconsin - "4 Generations Of Brewing Experience" - 12oz NDNR No Deposit-No Return, The no-deposit no-return “Handy” bottle debuted in late 1959 as a lightweight space-saving alternative to cans. Early versions were smooth and slippery when wet leading to frequent spills so textured rings were added around 1961. The design was updated again around 1964 to accept a screw cap and around 1970 a flat neck was added to improve pouring. This example is a second-generation Handy bottle with the correct period label applied., Grade 9.5

Unless otherwise requested, shipping will be fulfilled via USPS or UPS. Insurance on winnings of over $50 is required, as is a handling fee, to cover to cost of labor and materials. Generally, this is 50¢ per can, $1 per tray and bottle, $10 per wooden crate. Medium-sized signs will require a $5-10 handling fee. The handling fee for large items could be quite a bit more. Shipping charges will be combined for multiple lots, of course.
